"It has been estimated that the human brain has between 50,000 and 65,000 thoughts per day. These thoughts are shaped and conditioned by our past experiences, our perspectives on life and our emotional states at the time." (1)
Your thoughts create your experience of life. You have habitual thoughts that impact your emotional states day-to-day. Whether negative or positive, you actually think the same thoughts over and over without conscious awareness of them. Your thoughts are always attached to a feeling that matches the thought. A negative thought pairs with a negative feeling, and vice versa. These thought-feeling patterns dictate your actions and choices in life.
Learning to transform negative thoughts into new encouraging ones is key to your success.
"I trust every step I take is leading me to my desired result." (hopeful – confident)
"Nothing I do ever works." (despair-hopeless)

It is crucial to both practice thinking the new thought AND feeling the new feeling. You need your mind and body to become familiar having this new experience for it to then show up in your life.
1. Write them out and post them somewhere you will see them daily.
2. Create an alarm on your phone with the new thought and feeling.
3. Write them out 10 or more times every morning when you wake up.
4. Record yourself saying them and listen to the recording daily.
